Research on the corrosion test was conducted to study the effectiveness of natural extracts that contain nitrogen as a steel corrosion inhibitor software link made dalammedium water saturated with the gas CO 2.
Method used is to lose weight (gravimetri). Extract materials used are natural tobacco leaf, aloe vera and papaya leaves. Results of research indicate that the inhibitor contains organic nitrogen, such as tobacco leaves, aloe vera leaf, papaya leaf and can decrease the corrosion rate on mild steeldalam artificial sea water medium is saturated with CO 2 gas. Optimum concentration of each compound is 100 ppm.
